Sancho Angulo (he/him) is a policy professional with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) currently living in Ottawa, Ontario.  Born in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, he immigrated with his family to Canada at 3, and was raised in Markham, Ontario.  

Sancho has over five years’ experience working in various roles in Canada’s federal government and currently works as an Advisor, Privacy and Data Governance for the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS).

Drawing from his own lived experience, Sancho is an enthusiastic advocate and speaker on neurodiversity in the workplace and is regularly invited to speak to federal departments and agencies on this topic through the Federal Speakers’ Forum for Diversity and Inclusion.

Sancho holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) and a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management (BPAPM), both from Carleton University.   He also has credentials as a Certified Information Privacy Professional – Canada (CIPP/C) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and currently serves as Co-Chair for the IAPP KnowledgeNet chapter in Ottawa.

He is also founding Chair of Infinity – The Network for Neurodivergent Public Servants, the first interdepartmental  network dedicated to connecting, empowerment, and advancing neurodivergent employees in Canada’s federal public service.

Sancho is currently based in Ottawa, Ontario, where in his spare time he enjoys cooking, hosting parties, trivia, and board games.
